Overslept, stopped at the pontoon at Flowerdale to top up with water and do essential food shopping. By the time we left the sea breeze filled in (it seems to come from the North). So we tacked painfully slowly up the coast to the headland of Rubha Reidh, then ran out of wind and motored to Loch Ewe. The wind then came up from the forecast direction of SE, so we beat down the loch, putting in a reef on the way.
Spent an uncomfortable night in gusty wind of F5, sometimes 6. Would like to visit Inverewe gardens, but need better weather to get ashore!
