Tuesday 12 June 2012 – Loch Skipport to Loch Maddy

Shame to leave Loch Skipport without exploring any of its other corners – it really is a quiet and sheltered place. However we are very short of water and gas, neither of which can be obtained here, so we will look at Loch Maddy which is more of a centre (well at least it has a road, hotel etc)

Long but biased beat to Loch Maddy

They don’t do gas here.  However the ladies in the Tourist Information office were very helpful and found a place near Tarbert which did stock gas.  They also told us about lots of interesting places to visit nearby, but they will have to wait for another time.  Tomorrow we hope to go to Tarbert.

Follow our track on Google Maps.
